Match Thread: Crystal Palace v Villa

Considering Gerrard wanted to strengthen the spine of his team (and I know he can't help Carlos' injury) it's amazing how utterly ineffective our entire core is.

And his new captain seems to be regressing in his ability, at this rate he's at risk of getting sent off.

So you’re saying this is Gerrards fault? Nothing to do with poor performances all over the pitch?

Every team or player can have off days.

When the team is consistently poor and directionless you have to look at the manager.

We look like a newly assembled championship team.

Would probably take off McGinn and bring on Luiz, sit Luiz and Kamara deeper and push Ramsey up the pitch.  Probably also take off Bailey for... maybe Ings, maybe Coutinho.  Either have Coutinho and Buendia wider with Ramsey through the middle and Watkins up top, or have Watkins and Buendia wider with Ings up top.

No idea how we aren't losing right now... Konsa is so poor idk how Chambers hasn't started.

Gerrard is clueless. Plays Ramsey, McGinn, Konsa and Coutinho to name a few despite poor performance after poor performance.

Bailey struggling because the midfield at the moment consists of Kamara making late lunges at full pace palace players and Buendia sliding in from behind.

Its SGs new formation 4-1-0-2

That doesn’t excuse him constantly losing the ball when he does get it. He’s shit.
