Rich192
Sounds like the pitch is very much waterlogged, and it’s going to affect the game a lot. Shame.
Herman22
Just looking on twitter and the pitch looks a state. I doubt the match will be called off but it won’t lend itself to keeping it on the deck.
Enda
I, too, have heard the pitch is wet.

sne
At least we are not playing Burnley or Leeds. Man U will hopefully be focused on not picking up injuries just like us.

It’s still mainly all about fitness. Basically hoping we don’t get a lot of negativity if we lose. I get it’s a big game in a commercial sense so I’m sure players won’t be holding back too much.
Popular Post MrBlack
Just hope we come through with no injuries. Soggy pitches are great for mistimed tackles and excess strain on muscles. Not so good for playing football.

It will be interesting the moral high ground they will take if McGinn did similar to Bruno today Actually I bet most in football would enjoy it

DCJonah
I hope this isn't an indication that we are sticking with Watkins and Ings as a pair. That looks like what he thinks his best team would be.

AndyM3000
Not sure what has happened to Gerrard's narrow 4-3-3 but if the plan is to go 4-3-1-2 with Ings and Watkins up top it won't end well.
eholm
No Guilbert or Marv on the bench. Think they may well both be off.
