MaVilla
interesting that Caleb Chuka is on the bench, interesting. Surprised to see Archer, i thought he was just seeing out his time with the club before release.
OutByEaster? Posted August 24, 2021 Author Moderator Share Posted August 24, 2021 It's a good side. Archer is a striker/wide forward who has come through our youth team, he's small but quick and spent some time out on loan at Solihull Boro last season. Big opportunity for him. I'm really looking forward to seeing JPB and Chuwuemeka here and I think we've got a solid base behind them that should mean they can express themselves.
Villatillidie95
Nice line up, wonder if smith will throw on the ramsey and chukuwumeka brothers so that they are all on the pitch at once at some point in the game! No Wesley, is this a good or bad thing? Maybe he is off, or Smith has told him he sees him as part of the first team setup and dosent want him to play as he will play against Brentford? interesting one nonetheless. Great to see Fred get a run out!
Tomaszk
Hopefully this means we've got someone to take Wes away.

Khizzy
I'd rather have the other Chuckle brother up top than Archer personally.

Rodders
blimey. good luck Archer. Very intrigued by this team. I wonder if they still don't want to risk Wesley too much? Hope we see both Ramsays and Chuks on the pitch at the same time this evening.

Popular Post Exeter Fan Too Posted August 24, 2021 Visiting Supporter Popular Post Share Posted August 24, 2021 Saw Barrow at home this time last week when Exeter played there. Horrible wind made it one of the worst games I'd ever seen (from a very strong field!). Finished 0-0 but the wind meant that one side couldn't get out and the other teams high passes got swept away for goal kicks. The sea breeze adds a swirl to the wind making it very difficult for anyone to judge flight of the ball and keep it under as much control. A much more authentic Northern experience than the softness of a cold night in Stoke! Barrow not to be under-estimated. Last season a strong, functional stereotypical League Two physical side. Mark Cooper likes to play possession, attractive football, so Barrow currently in transition. Many League Two clubs now treat the League Cup as an opportunity to rotate, but I think Barrow will have a right go. Mark Cooper indeed a former Blues player. And his Dad Terry was a former Blues manager. Disappointed that Chrisene isn't available - could have got some minutes off the bench if the game was already won. (finally for anyone who thinks Birmingham-Barrow is a long journey, imagine the Exeter - Barrow trip. That game got postponed twice last season, the first time after the Exeter team had arrived at the ground. 136 fans made the trip last Tuesday, the coach getting back to Exeter just after 5am. And my brother got Covid as a result!) 5 1 1
