Stinking rich, stacked squad. Easiest gig in the league.

Is this true?  Always thought it was Rosenborg who were the biggest/richest Norwegian side.  Didn't Solskjaer win Molde's first ever league title?

Rosenborg are your Man United, the old money if you will.

Molde are bankrolled by a very, very wealthy man, and since Solskjaer’s arrival, they’ve spent massively, relative to the Norwegian market of course.

Easiest gig in Norwegian football.

Didn't know that, thanks.

That does mean there are quite a few coaches failing at Molde, with only one title in the last 5 years or so.

Well, that would be Solskjaer himself through 2018, then Erling Moe won the title back in 2019 after Ole left for Manchester, and then 2020 saw the birth of a mini-miracle in Bodø, creating one of the most unexpectedly brilliant football teams in Norwegian top flight history. 2021 will be very close between Molde and Bodø again.

Edit: But let’s not turn this into the Molde FK thread.

He loves a bargain

Wouldn't be a bad choice. He'd certainly stabilise them and invest to a certain degree.

I think Sports Direct is HQ'd out that way as well?

He loves to buy bankrupt businesses.

Theres many worse owners out there. I’d be reasonably pleased as Derby fan.

He would be better than the club falling into administration I would assume.

Derby fans would snap your hands off the be a boring, lower table premier league side at the moment.

They'll get promoted, install Bruce as manager and sell.

Ashley also seemed like he was up for it at Newcastle until the fans turned on him first for sacking Keegan

Tbh it is going to further weaken the Championship as Derby are well supported. League One is much more interesting-Sunderland, Wednesday, Portsmouth, Ipswich and Derby next year. Attendances must have dropped loads since us and Leeds went up.
