I suspect they will try to sign 2-3 to do that as he was their most crucial player. Good to see we’ve moved on to bigger and better tbf. Good luck to them.....Decent club Norwich.....and a good club to be friends with. Edited June 22, 2021 by TRO

Realistically, would that be it? Cheeky bid for Cristian Romero or Lisandro Martínez to complete the set and have 4 Argentinian musketeers? I think he'll be a really good signing for them.

As long as Buendia scores 2 against them in the same match.

Buendia will be class for us

I can see us going in for a young, English-speaking CB as backup for Konsa. Chris Mepham, perhaps? Coaching team clearly values good comms at the back. Popular Post villabromsgrove
My take on this summer's transfer window. I read these pages every day, sometimes with excitement, sometimes out of interest, but usually because it's become a daily habit. I've been a Villa fan since the 1950's, so I've seen the ups and the downs, but more generally the many seasons of plain mind numbing mediocracy in between. Let me tell you where I'm at now. I'm on a high! I'm up there at the pinnacle of my Villa supporting life! 1982 was iconic and unbelievable although I honestly believed we couldn't sustain it. 39 years later I believe we have the owners, the business acumen and the football knowledge to succeed at this moment in time. 2021/21 is the place to be for this old codger.. NSWE have my total trust. I will still give an opinion on who I would love us to sign (JWP, ESR etc) but I truly believe for the first time in a few decades that the guys in charge of my club know a hell of a lot more about the best way to the top than I do. I've not said that before in all the preceding decades, but I now really do believe it to be true. Exciting times. UTV! 21

AEG & Trez are terrible, and we probably wont really see Trez this season similar to what happened with Wesley. JBP i agree, hopefully he can develop. But ye, im not overly concerned, i would just be gutted if he turned out to be class for only 10m...... Trez is terrible. AEG was a bargain at the time. I actually don’t think the problem is with Rashica…..I think it was his agent doing all the unnecessary talking.
Tomaszk
Us not signing Rashica if the price was £10m is really surprising.

villabromsgrove
Trez is an example of the guts and tenacity that every new Villa signing needs.

useless
We've already got Grealish, Traore, Buendia, Young, El Ghazi, Trezeguet, and Philogene-Bidace as wingers, even if you account for Trezeguet being injured and presume that Young is going to play as a fullback that's still more than enough wingers and doesn't even take into consideration the possible signing of Alvarez. You seem to be forgetting about CAM as well. When you realise that you only have 4 guys who primary positions will be in those areas and are adults and not injured. We suddenly look very thin for the position behind Ollie. Remember last season we started with 5 and at points we ended up with only 2 players. rayk
If Trez wants to stay at VP he needs to be turned into a RB.
