Popular Post OutByEaster? Posted January 18, 2021 Moderator Popular Post Share Posted January 18, 2021 It must be a strange sell, if we're very close to a deal right now, we'd have started talking to him last week. "These will be your new teammates Morgan, I hope you'll enjoy playing here....Meet them? Erm....no, not right now, we've all got Covid. You can meet them next week when we're back from isolation. I bet you can't wait for training. Are you close to any of your elderly relatives at all?"

Steero113
When's the deadline for him to be in the squad for City? This seems to have escalated very very quickly if you believe the French press that we are finalizing negotiations.

Kingman
Amavi only got 6 months left on his contract, Might as well throw him in if they need to reduce the wage bill Edited January 18, 2021 by Kingman

They will/can buy world class, not the potential to be world class. £20 to VT If the kid goes back to City. It's really not happening

Yeah, I thought that. Plays in a similar looking style to Barkley - the player we currently have on loan. Would suggest this is a half season to get used to us while Ross is here, before (hopefully) kicking on.

TBH thats not a bad idea since we have no control over that one! If Luis didn’t want to leave Villa for Man City.... surely that would ruin that whole buy back close (if there even is one). Philosopher
Personally I think he is closer to Mcginn if we are comparing him to our existing players. Him and Mcginn in front of Luiz is a very hard working tough tackling midfield unit, that can carry the ball, (all three of them), play in tight spaces with good short passing and lots of one two.
