They are closer to walsall than us now and its absolutely hilarious

Would have been closer to Solihull Moors if they'd have won today.

Looks like the narrative has changed from 'we are rattled' to 'we don't know what's coming for us'.

Honestly, their forum is golden.

I don't think the dilberts have grasped the fact they are in League 1, with no squad, a moron of a owner who lives in Mickey Mouse land and are the laughing stock of English football.

What a strange coincident that they sack Rowett in 2016 whilst he has them in play-off contention to replace him a 'name manage', causing them to struggle, and then they do the same this season replacing Eustace with Rooney whilst they're sixth in the table and again as a consequence they struggle, and it's those two sacked managers that come back to haunt them and finally condemn them to League One, Eustace getting an unlikey win away to Leicester, and Rowett failing to keep them up, and to add to the cruel twist of fate both happen to be Villa fans.

You actually couldn't write it. It's too on the nose. At this point I'm convinced the universe has decided they're some sort of cosmic joke to be ridiculed, doomed to an eternity of tripping over their own shoelaces.

They seem to think they can spend what they want in League One next season because owners can supposedly put in what they want at that level, which I think is true, but if promoted it then gets counted towards FFP in the Championship and so would limit what they could spend at that level, so in reality they won't be spending what they would have done if they'd have stayed up like many of their fans seem to think, also and probably most relevant, they won't be spending as much as they think as the players who would cost that much won't drop down to League One level

As a connoisseur of the sport of hand-egg, (and a slight irrational hatred of all things patriots ), that clip, with those men, connected to small heath, is.........unimaginable. How in all it's holy has it come to this?

I really hope they spend and spend a lot, especially on wages for those willing to drop down to league one. Exactly the wrong approach to take and hopefully they'd be stuck down there with all that money burning away.

If they do come up straight away then it will be an achievement, no doubt. But there's two points that come to mind.

1. When most PL clubs go down, they're normally the strongest teams in the league by a long way. It's very rare nowadays that means like Ipswich come straight up. They also get parachute payments, giving them a massive advantage.

2. A lot of teams that come up from league 1 tend to yo-yo, or be close to the relegation places. See Barnsley, Rotherham, QPR, Wigan, etc etc.

Blues may well come up next season if they get the right manager, squad, and organise properly. This season shows us that the new guys don't do this very well. Even if they do come up, the odds on them catching us are so stacked against them, especially if we can consistently finish top 6 for a good few years.

The inbreds have got their heads in the sand (or up their arses) if they think there's a guaranteed all conquering future.

They are totally deluded. They keep waffling on about their profile being raised due to their owners but it is BS.

Their social media following is pathetic. Across tic tok, Instagram, X (twitter) and facebook they have under 1.4 million followers. Just to put that in perspective a club like Stoke City have 2.7 million followers across those platforms, Wrexham who have promoted themselves very well since being taken over have 3.4 million followers. We have 16 million followers.
