useless
Hogan apparently didn't turn to the end of season awards gala yesterday, of course it's not just about the first team, but their women's team and academy teams, who did okay, but strange to hold the event on the same weekend that the main team gets relegated. Robbie09
We stayed at the Amex to have a few beers and watch the Plop game. Fair play to the Brighton fans who had no issue with a dozen of us in colours drinking in their stand. We ended up on a later train from Marylebone which was full of Moors/SHA fans crying into their cans of lager. So glad Moors bottled it, I hope they lose the cup final next week as well.
MaVilla
for posterity, we can rewatch the slide for eternity Amazing collapse really, the first time they dropped in to the relegation zone all season was game week 41. They were only in the relegation zone for 5 games all season, but they dropped anyway. Edited May 6 by MaVilla

JoshVilla
It's hilarious to me that, in their eyes, their new owners can do absolutely no wrong. They've been so deprived of any sort of adequacy on the football front for so long that they've latched onto everything that Wagner has said. Their owners are **** morons. They made possibly the worst managerial switch in modern football history, gave themselves far too much to do and paid the price for it. They've fallen at literally the very first hurdle. But it's okay, they got to see a nice PowerPoint.

I see that Jay Stansfield won all 5 awards. Their goal of the season, young player of the season, top scorer, players’ player and supporters’ player of the season awards. By now, he will be on his way back to Fulham, with all their trophies left behind in his re-cycling bin and he won't be coming back! A friend of mine's wife had a message from her friend who had attended their wake last night, he couldn't resist asking her where it had been held "was it at Sympathy Hall?" 1

Apparently, all PR is good PR, they're massive, and they'll get tons of revenue and new fans from this clip. If Randy Lerner was sat in public laughing and joking about Villa's relegation, I don't think we'd be happy about it: nor would the supporters of any remotely serious club. There's only 16m Villa followers mate because they don't have good internet out in the shires mate, so that's the entire fan base. They're the biggest club round here mate. Im rattled mate.

Americans, of course, are known for their love of an unsuccessful team - they definitely won't hear "your team got relegated" and realise they suck and all start backing them. They'll just not bother. Once they've worked out what relegation is, obviously.
