Ben Chrisene

He needs and will get a loan deal. Good thing for him is his physique at such a young age. Reminds me a bit of Gareth Barry in a way. I know he briefly had appearences at Exeter but a year of men's football and he could come back next season as a worthy backup to Digne.

With the loan signing of Ludwig Augustinsson, this gives Chrisene a pathway to the first team next season. He must go out on loan and take his chance. Pathway is there
Same of Kessler and co.

Yep, desperately needs a loan asap. But where to? League 2/League 1?  Developments in a couple fo days?

We at Exeter (now League One) would love to see him back. We're desperate to add to the squad having so far this window made ....precisely 0 signings (either permanent or loan). First league game in 5 days time.

We don't currently have a specialist left back in the squad; however that's partly because we play with wing backs instead (both last season's left backs have been released). I can't see Gerrard authorising a move where Chrisene would play lots, but possibly not at left back.

Chrisene is basically a wing back anyways, a left back yes, but more of the modern attacking type, so he would suit a left wing back role perfectly imo.

Will be interesting to see where a few of our likely loanees go this season (KKH, Chrisene, Archer, Raikhy, Young etc).

I'd rather he didn't go back to Exeter. Better to throw him in the deep end somewhere else and see how he copes, rather than somewhere he is comfortable with. He'd probably move back in with his parents too which is not ideal.

The thing is Exeter might be more willing to guarantee first team football for him as I'd imagine they have some sort of sell on clause and incentives from the transfer of him. Plus he is one of their own. League 1 is a good level to start out at too.

On loan to Kilmarnock according to BBC transfers page? Not seen anything from club on this? Odd given Chuckwemaka’s time at livingstone last year and Augustinian missing from bench recently??

Why? It’s not the same club thats like saying Villa and Small heath operate similar just because they are in the same city.

Played the full 90 minutes today on his debut, Kilmarnock get their first win of season and climb off the bottom of the table. No idea how performed overall but was unlucky not to get a debut goal by the sound of things, hit the post.

Brief and honest review from my Kilmarnock supporting mate who was at the game today...

"@Stuart Patterson 5/10.

Don’t want to be too critical as it was his first game and was straight in the deep end.

He looked very hesitant to get forward and some of his passing was very loose. He did hit the bar in the first half when he should have done better.

Motherwell targeted him with a lot of their goal kicks and out centre half had to come across and offer him protection.

Couple of decent crosses however and hope that is a sign of what is to come.

McInnes looked pissed off with him a couple times for cheap giveaways."

Have to disagree with that , I was at that the game today and thought he played very well , he hit the underside of the bar from 15 yards so wasn't a chance he should have s scored from, yes there was some loose passes but there was far more good passages of play , manager was full of praise for him in interview after game and impressed plenty on Killie fan page , I would say it was a 7/10 performance.
