Match Thread: West Ham v Villa

Got away with it 1st half, if we don’t snap out of the mindset we currently seem to be in we’ll concede. This performance won’t be enough over the whole game, we must start competing upfront and in midfield. Dropping back and inviting pressure, with no outlet, is a recipe for defeat. I’m praying they snap out of this and get back to an Arsenal type performance.

well yeah, except that one XD. one could argue that Jack should have scored too though so we're kinda in the same boat.

Difference being, if we lose we get relegated.

We've been sloppy and lacked desire.

Quite a few passengers on the pitch today and i think DS has set us up for the draw.  Far too conservative and such a lack of passion and desire.

Villa aren't winning today so it looks like it's all about the Bournemouth game. I'd put Bournemouth as favourites at the moment.

if by that you mean that we're drawing and Watford still lose then so be it..

We will concede and that’s the problem

Yup thats my worry.

Our players don't look to be coping with the pressure.

Can't wait for 67 minutes for Davis to replace Samatta.

I'm trying to be a little optimistic to help me cope, tis all.

My heart would not cope if it was like this with 10 minutes to go.

Praying for an Everton goal.

As it stands we're going to have teams arguing that we only stayed  because of the sheff utd hawkeye error  -_-, despite the fact a VAR has shafted more goals against us than for this season.

Maybe but then our arguement is the god knows how many bad VAR and officiating decisions that have gone against us, so really it's a stupid arguement.

Samatta trying to avoid the ball, or running or challenging so far.

Jack almost as bad, not sharp and doesnt look interested.

Mcginn was the same for 30 minutes then started putting himself about.

We are not working hard enough, that should be the minimum they give.
