As far as I can tell, there are 3 reasons not to get vaccinated:

1. Conspiracy theories around their safety (daftest reason)
2. Afraid of needles
3. Can’t be arsed

I’d like to be enlightened otherwise, though.

Nailed it.

There was a report in the news yesterday about the return and rise of measles cases (sometimes deadly) as vaccine take up reduces massively.
It makes me so mad that we’re so incredibly fortunate to have vaccines available, convenient and free to stop ourselves and our loved ones getting sick… and then decline them. It winds me up so much.

Can’t be arsed? It couldn’t be easier. Free medicine for a known illness given at a time and place to suit you.

The people that originally stirred anti vax sentiment with the covid jabs have a lot to answer for.

It’s now carried into standard vaccinations and we have a record low take up on measles jabs resulting in a real risk of the disease making a return.

Seriously, we could be looking at a return to Victorian levels of premature death and serious illness if something isn't done about this. There needs to be a huge education campaign.

Unfortunately that seems to make the drips dig their heels in more

I can already picture them in hospital next to the bed with their sick child in it begging the doctors to “do something”.

That isn’t a reason. That’s your choice in whether to answer a question. It’s fairy nuff as a response to the question but that’s all it is.

4) lack of safety data - without the conspiracy theories.

5) perceived previous bad experience

6) exercising your right to make an informed decision.

7) taking a calculated (and selfish) risk by relying on herd immunity to keep you safe.

Valid points . I think the first three points posted by Bobzy are a bit narrow minded.

But has made them lots of money, so who's the idiot?

...

I heard one of these charlatans on a podcast recently, claiming 'no vaccines came from God' and thus are bad, and that vaccines make you more likely to get ill because break your natural systems responses to illnesses. I believe the word removed was the same one peddling shite about plandemic and the like. Should be shot. With lots of vaccines.
