He has one bad game and everyone wants to drop him for a guy who has had one good game in his Villa career. Ridiculous. Football fans for you. You’re only as good as your last game. TRO
As much as he made an error.....its still funny how they can be first to the ball and not us. could just as easily been cleared by an alert defender.

We are simply not touch tight enough, when we should be. you can't stop all goals, but many of ours are avoidable with more alertness.

It's basics man... Makes you wonder what they are actually doing at the training ground. I get such Paul Lambert vibes out of this season.
Enda
He deserved a new contract, a statue outside VP, and renaming Broad St after him.

Davkaus
He's absolutely superb. Let 3 in, but still clearly the man of the match, which speaks volumes about the turgid shite in front of him. I can't see why a bloke that's won what he has decided to get dragged in to this **** shitshow, but I'm glad he's here.
VillaChris
Had a great game. Some fantastic saves in first and second half. Just wish he'd perhaps aimed his goal kick out wide rather than centrally as we saw the awful consquences but that's being ultra critical. One thing I simply don't get is why there's such opposition to us signing proven top level players sometimes. He is, the three infront of him were a bunch of schoolboys today. Stevo985 Posted February 16, 2020 VT Supporter Share Posted February 16, 2020 Some great saves, and his distribution is on another planet compared to any goalkeeper I think we've ever had.

Yep he's calm when opposition is running towards him. Compare his calmness under pressure to Hause and Konsa.... Arguably our second best technical player after Grealish although Luiz was quite good today pinging balls from side to side.
Farlz
He's been a great signing. Playing out from the back is easy with Reina.
Delphinho123
He’s brilliant but then he needs to be behind our back 3. Even when he saves a penalty they find a way of deserting him.

To be fair that penalty was criminal, only guilbert got anywhere close, the other 9 players should give 50% of this weeks salary to charity for how disgusting it was that they didn't follow up...... In fairness a few penalties this season have been retaken for enchroachment so think defenders are reluctant to get into the box quickly. Just summed up the luck today, Reina parries it a touch wider and Son won't get the rebound in.

Well we could've scored 4 easily in the first half ourselves. It was just a very open game but it's a double edged sword when you play a team with real pace in the final third (today showed how slow we are attacking sometimes). Probably the biggest slice of luck was a guy who hasn't scored since May 2017 rifling one in on the turn from a ball pinballing around the box. Cruel defeat in many ways. villaglint
Outstanding, little else to say. He’s the best player on the ball in the back 6.
