villalad21
Smith's trust in Wesley is one thing. But to not ever rest him is just strange. If Wesley get's injured Smith got no one to blame but himself.

I think Hourihane might be left wing. Grealish must be centre ffs. No chance.
JAMAICAN-VILLAN
Well, we can;t say he isn't trying something new. I even suggested we should go more narrow, and play Hourihane etc so we can have more penetration through the middle. We have been too predictable, and offering nothing from the wings. Based on the El Ghazi and Trez threads I thought people would be happy.
It's Your Round
Jack back on the left. Nakamba and Trez rightly dropped. I’m interested to see what Jota can do with Wesley. Elmo has probably kept his place for his experience in a battle, he slowed things down for Norwich really well.

Robtaylor200
OK so we couldn't pick a team every one would like no matter how hard we try In Dean we trust (hopefully)
Popular Post villa4europe
Slate them before a balls kicked, get really nervous over the imminent defeat then moan all match that they lack confidence Being back in the PL is toxic

We've just exchanged one winger that's nowhere near good enough for the league for another one, IMO. Set the **** off running from our box at kick off and he'll barely reach the other side of the pitch by full time. Jota isn't a winger and only player that's looked like playing Wesley in was Jota vs Everton

Still persisting with wesley is bordering on crazy at this point. Yeah that's the one I don't get. Why is Wesley immune to rotation. What will it take for Kodija to get a look. Popular Post NurembergVillan Posted December 28, 2019 Moderator Popular Post Share Posted December 28, 2019 The inclusion of Lansbury and Jota suggests we'll try to keep hold of the ball and pass it through them. They've got an athletic back four, and our forwards aren't quick enough anyway so the plan could be to look for a killer through ball rather than trying to outrun them. 6
El-Reacho
Look like we're going to be much more compact with that line-up. Hopefully Jota and Wes stay close together as that's brought out the best in Wes previously.

Danishlad
Dean Smith must be a good tactician. Cause appararently all our players are rubbish and mid Championship level. Yet we almost beat Man U and Liverpool.
It's Your Round
At least we’ve got some pace and threat off the bench.
