Ok he weren't the best technically, but he has something that you can't really teach which is effort. He worked his pants off when we needed him to and he was very much part of the reason we are able to sign players like Kamara, Digne and Coutinho, instead of shopping for the Championship. There's a good player in there somewhere - I don't know if it was a confidence thing or what.
