Or the ageless, “face like a bulldog chewing a wasp.”

When he was a baby he was upside down in his pram for six months before anyone noticed

Not being English, from the outside lookiing in it should seem mad that a player with something like 13 clean sheets and only 4 goals conceded in 16 caps gets as much stick as he does. It's a shame that it seems par for the course instead considering what he gets at club level, much less international.

The BBC Phil McNulty article is so infuriating. Doesn’t even mention Ming’s goal just says nothing of note in the 2nd half. You can’t even describe the third goal but you can spend two paragraphs on Southgate’s Maguire fetish?

Yeah the one from the mirror was similar. Two thirds of it was waxing lyrical about Bellingham and sterling. Brief mention through gritted teeth that Watkins and Ming's scored. Really odd

Deserves his place in the squad, Still baffled as how he’s ahead of Konsa but not difficult to understand whilst Boregate is in charge

They have different attributes, it depends on which ones you favour.

  • Mings is more dominant and vocal, better in the air
  • Konsa more composed and better on the floor, more of a sweeper.

Mings is invisible and gets none of the credit - despite him being a major factor in these clean sheets. It’s honestly a disgrace.

The BBC hate the Midlands. Is there an even slightly credible reason why they shut down Pebble Mill, in the middle of the country and moved to Manchester. Wasting millions of pounds of public money in the process? Our national broadcaster is a joke at best.

I think the whole "don't boo Maguire, he gets upset" thing shows just how important Mings is in that England camp - Coady too.

So many players (and people) have no backbone, and can't take it when things aren't perfect for them. (I am not condoning abuse, but it is a fact of life, especially on social media).

Take the dogs abuse Mings took at Leeds - he just laughed it off, and revelled in the 3-0 victory. That's a strong leader, which England need. Not he whiny lot.

(And if someone could add the gif of Mings laughing at the Bluenoses abusing him, that would be apt and lovely)

It's one thing a player getting abuse from a rival fan base at their home stadium.

It's a whole different thing booing a player who plays for you and your stadium (and has an exemplary record for said team at said stadium).
