Bayern are also ran by ex players who do the business side of things. Rumenigge and Hoeness know what a footballer thinks like as well compared to a Levy or Woodward

The main thing with Bayerns ownership are the 3 As, Adidas, Allianz and Audi, they only own about 8% each but they pump in an insane amount of cash, audi for the sleeve and car sponsor is €60m a year, the Allianz stadium deal is €6m, Adidas shirt deal is €65m

For context man city's owners via etihad and the shirt + stadium deal get £40m a year

Not sure how bayern get away with it, they are incredibly rich and powerful, rummenigge has just taken Agnellis job at UEFA and yet they're never really criticised or have the finger pointed at them for being part of the cartel, they're the good guys and proper ran club compared to man City or psg etc they're a wolf in sheep's clothing

I get FFP constraints but this is a huge, huge summer for them. If any punishment is handed to the so called “big six” also, then what an opportunity.

Big kit deals, improved sponsors, Jack staying and some genuine exciting signings, then year 3 back in the Premier League will be some season to enjoy.

Nothing is going to happen to the big 6. It will be a fine at best.

They dont have the balls to enforce bans, points deductions or transfer embargos.

Its already dying down as i expected and these scummy clubs will get away with it

I think we have one year of Kappa left and the Cazoo deal was described as a multi-year deal, so I'm not sure we'll have much in terms of improved sponsors next year unless someone wants to come and buy them out.

Thanks for sharing OBE.  Was hoping we would go with a new kit manufacturer and sponsor next season.  I do like to see a new kit though.

The sponsor is fine, not big on Kappa, though.

It’s ok I suppose and better than some of the awful gambling sponsors.

However, the ideal for me would be Nike or Adidas with Cadbury as our sponsor.  Although, I’d probably also be happy with a Apple or Samsung 10 year deal 😁.

Unfortunately it's a case of whoever pays the most money...

Kappa are ok, they don't know what a normal sized human being is and their stock levels are utter garbage but the design of the stuff is fairly decent

We need to expand our partners too, especially with grealish doing it off the field individually

Kappa only supply what the club ask for so can't be blamed for the lack of training gear.  The club admitted this and will order more for next season.

I think they are the best we have had in years for design.

I think both deals are less than we're capable of getting - we make a combined £9m a year from them and I think we're capable of significantly more.

I'm a tiny bit miffed that Everton get £10m a year from Cazoo and we get £6m.

Not sure how these deals work but maybe yiu get increased payments for higher league positions?

It was signed in The Championship so would certainly have built in increases for promotion but maybe more increases for top half finish?

I think NSWE should rule out any gambling sites, I hate them advertising everywhere. Makes a statement.

I hope this too.  I've been desperate for us to not have a gambling site because I desperately need a new shirt and would rather not have one on the front. But now the shirt is Kappa which I hate🤬

I wonder if this was a conscious decision by NSWE?

Not sure if gambling adverts are outlawed in USA but the Bucks don't seem to have any betting firms other than a Hotel and Casino operator.  You would think Wes Edens would think about talking to The Bucks sponsors but their principal sponsor seems to be Harley-Davidson who I don't see signing major deals outside of USA.

There doesn't seem on the surface to be much joined up approach with The Bucks yet though I expect things might be happening in the background.  I seem to remember Lerner did some joint initiatives with The Browns.

***To save my ass I believe this post is about the NSWE boards attitude to sponsors, not sponsors themselves***

I’m sure it wasn’t a deliberate attempt to upset you @sidcow   NSWE love you as they love us all.
