Popular Post Xann
Quote Each time a school becomes an academy the council must hand over the title deeds for the school if it has them (avg value £5m per school) As over 2,000 schools have been forced to become academies that is £10 billion (min) state assets Michael Gove has demanded the title deeds be handed to him I wrote an FOI request to Michael Gove's department and asked him where are the title deeds to England's schools After 3 months he still refused to answer - I had to involve the information commissioner who wrote and demanded they answer within 10 days And now we find out why Michael Gove did not want to answer the reply I got The department of Education has absolutely no record of any of the title deeds for the school - not in paper format or electronic format Now as councils held title deeds for state assets safely for decades - and Michael Gove used the Academies Bill to force councils to hand them to him - the Secretary of State For Education - Where are all the title deeds for the schools Mr Gove At the end they told me to write to a company the Tory Party Treasurer is on the board of - and ask the private company if they know what Michael Gove has done with the title deeds for state assets Any good magician will tell you - create a distraction - to get away with the trick And the trick here is - Michael Gove transferring £10 billion of state assets to private companies - where no payment was received for the state assets - and taxpayers forced to pay over £50,000,000 in legal fees alone to fund the trick Thatcher sold state assets - Michael Gove gives them away - and some of the companies he gave them away to - just happen to have very prominent Tory party members on the boards - with us even paying all legal fees. http://michaelrosenblog.blogspot.com/2014/03/gove-nicked-our-schools-and-handed-them.html 3

bickster Posted May 12, 2022 Moderator Share Posted May 12, 2022 Some interesting facts I learned about Lee Anderson today, none of them changed my mind about him Lee Anderson was a Labour Councillor in Nottingham until 2018, he defected before he was pushed. Antisemitism amongst other things Lee Anderson was a scab in the Miners Strike, supposedly crossing over the picket line to return to wrok because he couldn't afford to live on Strike Pay Lee Anderson since becoming an MP has £27k expenses per month on average

After being substituted for a human baby many years ago, the creature calling itself Gove must now stop causing mischief in our world and return to the forest. King of the tree sprites Tom Logan said: “It’s amazing Gove has passed as human for so long, it’s over 5000 years now since he was first hatched from a small green egg. “He’s only amongst humans because a woodcutter pissed us off by chopping down a magic yew tree and we stole his baby, but the curse has expired now so we want Gove back on sprite duty molesting unwary travellers. “I’m quite impressed with all the trouble he’s caused though, so I might see if he can get the flower fairies to start a pointless campaign to leave the forest.” Gove, real name Crikkety Wikkety, said: “I’d love to stay meddling in human affairs, but I should really get back to luring people off the path and deep into the woods where the witches can get them....
Davkaus
Sometimes over the last few years I've thought "we have it too good, let's have another round of austerity" https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2022/may/12/boris-johnson-plans-to-axe-90000-civil-service-jobs-to-fund-tax-cuts Quote More than 90,000 civil servants are likely to lose their jobs in an attempt by Boris Johnson to find money to ease the cost of living crisis. The prime minister is understood to have tasked the cabinet with cutting staff by a fifth, telling them every bit of cash saved on government spending could be better used elsewhere. He is thought to have made the demand to ministers during an away day in Stoke-on-Trent on Thursday. “We have got to cut the cost of government to reduce the cost of living,” he told the Daily Mail. He hinted at future tax cuts, suggesting the billions saved from reducing civil servant numbers could help fund such measures. “Every pound the government pre-empts from the taxpayer is money they can spend on their own priorities, on their own lives,” he said. Johnson ordered ministers to return civil servant numbers to those of 2016 in the coming years, with staffing having increased by almost 25% to 475,000 full-time equivalent jobs. meregreen
Rees Mogg on the news addressing the aim of getting rid of 90,000 Civil servants jobs. Refers constantly, as Tories always do, to the savings to be made for hard working tax payers. Never refers to those employed in the Civil service as hard working tax payers though. Which they are. Bell end.

Bell end. Not to mention we tried this experiment between 2010 and 2016, and even the tories realised that departments were cut to the point of ineffectiveness. Here we go again.
Popular Post Davkaus
And it's not about efficiency, if it was, we'd have some targeted redundancies aimed at specific roles that are either unnecessary, or not delivering the value we need. Huge numbers of reductions across all departments with no direction at who or where isn't about efficiency, it's about cutting to the bone, driven by nothing more than ideology without an ounce of consideration for the consequences. What are these 90,000 people doing? Who else is going to do it? Who cares, slash and burn, it's nearly Labour's time in government and they can take the fall for it. 6
