Jesus, can't believe we swapped Adomah for Adama haha

Stats don't tell the whole story. Adomah's goals were all penalties against blind goalkeepers, whereas Bacuna's were all 40 yard free kicks and Adama took on 21 players (the entire of both teams) before scoring each of his.

@Stevo985

An article from earlier in the season...

Definitely sounds like a player who is "absolutely toilet".

Reading fans react to Leandro Bacuna's latest display... Aston Villa fans will be very interested

Aston Villa sold Leandro Bacuna to Reading during the summer window

Reading fans are absolutely raving about the performances of Leandro Bacuna, which may be a shock to some Aston Villa supporters. Bacuna joined Reading from Villa in the summer transfer window and most claret and blue supporters were not at all disappointed to see the defender depart.

Bacuna had not impressed during his time at Villa Park with his attitude frequently questioned.

However, Reading fans have immediately taken the Dutch full back to their hearts.

Bacuna has impressed the Madejski Stadium crowd with his defensive and attacking ability.

And the 26 year old was in brilliant form last night as Reading picked up a 3-1 victory over Nottingham Forest.

Bacuna proved a constant menace to the Forest defense and Reading fans have been very quick to praise him on social media.

Whether Villa would have needed Bacuna this season is up for debate, but if he keeps performing to this standard Steve Bruce may regret not having the option to call upon the former Groningen man as the campaign progresses.

Wow. 6 people on twitter thought he was good for one game 4 months ago.

He is shit.

He's been rated a 7/10 for his season so far which was the 2nd highest rating given out to any of their players. He also won their player of the month for October and has been in the running for it a few other months IIRC.

Leandro Bacuna 7/10 (16 games, one sub)

Has had some very impressive games and others less so, but overall adds energy and drive to the team. Used as a right back in recent weeks which limits his effectiveness but can still perform an admirable job.

According to that particular website he’s been the second best player for the team 18th in the Championship.

Well I’m convinced.

He is shit.

Michael has told us before what his criteria for judging players is..

He rates them based on his physical attractiveness to them.

His words, before I get told off.

Based on that criteria, I think Conor hourihane is flippin' brill.

Nah - Thor & John Terry definitely. C'mon it's 2018 - polyamorous is all the rage!

And he doesn't get in our team at all, as sky highlighted loads of times during our game Sunday our tactic is push the full backs up, let grealish drift wide and have the wrong sided wide men cut inside on to their right side and create, often playing the ball in early form deep, we don't play with beat the man get to the bi line wingers

lack of ability aside he simply isn't suited to what we do
