RIP Ron Moody. I used to love Oliver as a kid for some reason, I nearly wore the video out.

RIP, underrated actor , IMO. Great screen presence, and that low bass voice...he'll be missed.

Meanwhile, in music, jazz legend Ornette Coleman has died.

Sad day all around.

Weird. I was playing "The Shape of Jazz to Come" only yesterday.

Christopher Lee is one that'll definitely be missed. Lead an absurdly interesting life, a great screen presence, and by all accounts a lovely guy.

Legitimately a legend.

RIP.

When I was young, 10 or so horror films scared the living shit out of me*, really scared me, one night I was chancing my arm staying up late as my mum and dad had fallen asleep on the sofa and I sat there watching telly. Satanic Rites of Dracula come on and it maybe scared me more than anything I have seen in my life (I hadnt seen the kid scratching at the window in Salems Lot at this point). Christopher Lee, I loved that guy as years went on, Scaramanga, Dracula and Lord Summerisle, if he never did anything else that would be fantastic.

*Love horror films now, my favourite genre, saw the exorcist, realised well that couldnt possibly happen and it was a light switch, started to appreciate horror films.
