Zatman
His distribution of the ball is horrendous, if he can actually start passing to our players instead of kicking it anywhere he will be a good player. Lets see how he does next season 83.1% pass completion, Westwood has 83.7 for the season who people say rarely loses the ball
Shaw_nuff
There were a few games where Sanchez was our best player by a country mile. Then he dropped off dramatically. Maybe there is a proper player in there somewhere - there's a glimmer of hope anyway.

It's the ease at which he gets knocked off the ball or miscontrols it that bothers me. He reacts so slowly to everything. He's not a good footballer and we should get rid now as it won't take much to improve on him.

Or how wrong/biased people can be? Stats don't tell the whole story but there's nothing wrong with using them to back-up an argument.

rodders0223
Agreed, his pass % can be as high as it wants. Doesn't matter when the 2 in 10 passes he gives away are in the most ridiculous of positions.
AntrimBlack
He doesn't react fast enough This to me is his problem. Has been unable to adapt to the speed of the Premier League.
HanoiVillan
Sherwood will give him until January at least, that much is obvious. Maybe he won't improve with a pre-season, but maybe he will. It's a shame it's a Copa America year.
VillaChris
Sherwood does rate him, well certainly of the Lambert signings from last summer he's inherited as I don't think he's been out of the 18 of all the games he's managed.

The Fun Factory
You can't say he has had a fantastic first season in England, but he has shown glimpses of ability this season. I would give him another season to prove his worth. Petrov looked a bit dodgy in his first season as well it has to be remembered- the Premier League is a huge step up in physicality to almost any other league in the world. And centre mid is probably the hardest position to get up to speed too.

Mantis
That's probably because a European cup final is normally contested between two of the best teams in Europe. Serie A or La Liga for example are nowhere near as physical as the Premier League.
electronicmaji
Sanchez got MOTM if I can find a copy of the match I will. Plz don't report it and get it taken down. Edited June 7, 2015 by electronicmaji
