Firstly, that was an absolutely top drawer finish.

 

Secondly, after one or two dodgy moments in the first half his defensive performance overall was very good. He really did contain Walcott very well. Walcott did very little today and that was in large part down to Luna.

Sat here laughing my ass off at that goal wondering why the hell he was playing in the Centre Forward position at that point of the game :D

looked dreadful in the first 45 - but stuck at it ....and we tend to need those goals late on !!!!

Absolutely no idea what he was doing in that position though.

 

it came from a corner, and he's a smaller guy, so was likely right on the edge of our box to clear any headers etc, but ended up breaking with the play

Fair play to him today. I have to admit that I was very skeptical of his defensive capabilities after seeing him last season at Mallorca and in pre-season. He looked very solid at the back though and generally kept Walcott quiet. And how composed was his finish? Very encouraging from him.
