Anyone here invited to Neymars' Super-spreader event of the year?

Paris Saint-Germain forward Neymar Junior has been criticised heavily after allegedly organising a five-day party in a resort near Rio de Janeiro for 500 people

Neymar, formerly of Barcelona, had a disco built with acoustic protection in an annexe of a mansion in Mangaratiba just outside Rio de Janeiro to host a party that began on December 25th and is set to run until the New Year.

Neymar owns a £6m mansion nearby complete with its own helipad, but it’s undergoing renovation work at the moment. The mansion in question is said to be rented. Neymar is said to have banned attendees from bringing mobile phones to the party.

He wasnt getting a similar contract elsewhere in the current markey, he is 29 has declined from his Barcelona days and its his last big deal

True. but he's also the biggest name for the EA Games FIFA kids and a hugely marketable player.

Wonder how much PSG will offer Messi and M'bappé :D

He's world class one of the best in a generation, still rapid, one of the most skillful around, great goalscorer and an absolute joy to watch but he won't be remembered in 10 years.

Nobody is watching highlights of PSG from the archives.

Enjoy the money.

not that much better really considering the hype and money he cost

Quite a lot better. Second highest Brazilian scorer overtaking the great Ronaldo and Romario. He hasn’t done as much as he should have in the game, but is still a long way ahead of Robinho.

Not sure why Nike needed to aim that parting shot at him, I thought it was more his contract was up, boot deals have gone through the roof and Nike were targeting quantity not quality (it's documented that Nike have dropped loads of players in the last year)

If they don’t, and it comes out later, it looks like a cover up. Smart PR for a company that has had accusations of sexism etc within the business before.

The Wall Street Journal reviewed documents and spoke with "people familiar with the matter" when reporting the story. The incident itself happened in 2016 when an allegedly intoxicated Neymar tried to force the Nike employee to perform oral sex on him in a New York City hotel room, according to the report. The employee also alleges that he tried to block the door to prevent her from leaving the room, and chased her down the hotel hallway while undressed.
