He has binned the hair it seems...gone for all black and short for Nike's new 'Hypervenom' boot launch. Clearly he reads VillaTalk...

Rumours are saying that he's actually cost Barca nearer £60m with signing on fees etc.

With Falcao going to Monaco, La Liga is looking like even more of the two-horse race next year (unless Atletico reinvest that £50m very wisely).

Does the fee take into account the amount of shirts he will sell in Brazil and around the world?

He's the most marketable athlete after all, with Messi being in 2nd.

really? more than Ronaldo, Ronaldinho even probably Kagawa be more marketable than Neymar

Yeah I'm not really seeing how Neymar compares to them yet. The rest depends on how successful he is at Barcelona. If you can't walk the walk then it doesn't matter how stupid your hair is :)

Some sports agency said that Neymar is the most marketable athlete in the world (second year in a row actually) but it's a flawed definition because it skews heavily to up and coming stars.  Ronaldo, Beckham and Messi might sell more shirts and make more advertising dollars but they are all locked into long term deals which Neymar isn't, hence the definition.

Dug this one out because everybody's favourite spoiled brat punched a fan this week after losing in the French Cup final.

Hopefully he'll be getting a good long ban.

Thought it was more of a petulant push than a punch.  He's in a long line of footballers who are tits though.
