It's bad for Midlands football that our clubs can't seem to maintain success.

Wolves with Fosun and Leicester with their owners (though very different circumstances) have both achieved pretty well in recent years and have had a severe drop off. Blues seemingly go from terrible owner to terrible owner.

We've had Lerner, Xia and now NSWE , let's hope NSWE are the ones to finally crack Midlands football in this modern era.

It's funny because of how Wolves were with us during their good spell, but nothing about Midlands clubs managing to remain relevant, well funded and successful is good. We need a couple of great clubs in the area to prosper and grow commercially, intense rivalries between successful clubs will help us all grow and there's a real lack of that in the Midlands

Long story short - ooft.

This guy's videos are usually pretty well-informed and interesting, but . . . there is not a single creator on the whole of YouTube who has a more annoying and less-suited-to-voiceovers voice and intonation than this guy. Combined with his inability to pronounce basically any non-English name, even if they're ones he's surely heard plenty of times before like 'Sasa Kalajdzic' or 'Guillem Balague', and it's proper pins-in-the-ears stuff.

Fully agree, similar to what I said earlier. The more successful teams we have within the Midlands the better it is for footballing locally and raises the profile of the area nationally and internationally. I want us to have competitive rivals to make us better. It's better for the game overall instead of clubs ending up with Lerner situations at the behest of super agents.

It was SO HARD to listen to that.
