STO
Was excellent today, great passing and talks well across the line. Foden was kept really quiet but Pep didn't want to put that other left sided chap on for them.
abdulaziz1
I was really impressed by him. Much better than being a LB to be honest.
Tom13
I was dreading it when I saw him coming on, but he proved me so wrong. Absolutely unreal performance, can't remember him losing a single duel?

He’s a massive addition to the utility of the squad !! In all honesty there were some quite embarrassing comments on here when he signed last year and again when he re-signed this year. It's brilliant to have a player of his experience and ability to call on, happy to sit on our bench till he's needed.

When you look back like that, especially considering the quality of the opposition it just looks better and better doesn't it. How many times have you seen Mings make a pigs ear of that kind of awkwardly bouncing ball.

That track-back, tackle and then finding Luiz in space really set the tone for the whole performance. I think it would be unfair to expect that every week, but hopefully he's got plenty in the tank for the next game.

He was truly immense yesterday and it was great to see him play so well.

Vive_La_Villa
This guys an outstanding professional. 37 and playing like that. He should be an inspiration too many. Maybe could have tracked Haaland though or am I being harsh? Edited September 4, 2022 by Vive_La_Villa
alreadyexists Posted September 4, 2022 VT Supporter Share Posted September 4, 2022 An absolute professional, what a great player and career he’s had, I’m also 37 and I’m as brittle as a breadstick
Tayls
Slightly off tangent but after seeing youngys highlights from yesterday, notice how De Bruyne shows absolutely no respect when he fouls a player. Noticed it a few times yesterday. Doesn’t offer a hand, doesn’t even look back. Lacks class in that sense.
sheepyvillian
I have to be honest, I really didn't see a performance like that in him, but happy to proven wrong especially when considering how terrible Cash has been. Ash really emphasized the contrast between the two of them yesterday. His self- belief and determination was something to behold, it really was.

jim
Some of the posts from the end of July have aged well. Great player to have as a back up when needed IF he keeps ups the levels from his last two games.
