Neat and tidy, but absolutely no threat offered at all. He's not mobile enough to be a box to box midfielder, he's not a deep lying playmaker, he's not technical enough to play advanced, he's not aggressive enough to play anchor or holding roles, he just... is there... no particularly bad at any one thing, but not particularly strong in any one area either. A proper plodder. Westwood hasn't controlled any game since his time in a Villa shirt! Neat and tidy just isn't enough for me. Doesn't score goals, doesn't create goals, doesn't dictate play - what's the point? That is what Westwood should be, but he just isn't, he's vastly inferior to an aging Leon Britton.
