Popular Post TrentVilla Posted July 12, 2015 Moderator Popular Post Share Posted July 12, 2015 I did chuckle at Trent's countdown clock for N'zogbia, can it go on the top right of the board? I've matured since that silly and frankly amateur effort in my signature.... http://www.tickcounter.com/countdown/20160701120000am/w4410/1/Until_we_get_N%27Zogbia_off_the_wage_bill I wonder if Limpid will let me add the code for it to the site
rodders0223
Please pay off his contract. I don't care if he receives the entire value owed to him. I don't want to see him in a Villa shirt anymore.
Popular Post Shomin Geki
N'Zogbia is quite a remarkable sportsman. Whenever I think of him I get images of a lost soul, prowling the pitch in a state of confusion, as if a coma patient suddenly woke up in the soul of an adequate athlete, frightened and alone, half-heartedly playing along in a state of muted existential despair. Although that makes him sound more interesting than he really is. He redefines not being in the game. An appropriate highlights reel would be an endless, interchangeable series of images of him frowning, almost sweaty, at the perfectly equidstant point between not really attacking and not really defending. Just drifting, like balsa flotsam. Jesus, years from now we'll all be doubting if he wasn't some weird shared hallucination. Did he really exist? Do we have any proof? Does anyone have any actual memories of the guy? The crap Keyser Soze of football. And like that... he's gone.
TRO
When you think of the word effective......he is somewhere near the horizon away from it.
lexicon
My wording would be: on the opposite side of the spectrum to 'effective'.
SeanO
I detest CNZ, so much so if it meant never seeing him in a Villa I'd happily loan him to blues and pay his wages for the season! I rate Tonev as a better signing and I question how he ever became a professional footballer. Just go.
dont_do_it_doug.
Poor Charlie. I really don't understand the hate. Has always come across as professional to me, kept his head down and got on with it. He didn't sign himself after all.
villa4europe
He comes across as anything but professional to me, he might not moan on social media but his body language on the pitch is shocking, he'll have a great ten minute spell and that's him done for the next 3 games, I think he's wasted his obvious talent because he's a lazy selfish player
rodders0223
Yes, I don't think he is professional to be honest. He may be quiet, and go about his business but professional he isn't. It has been 4 years now, and he still look completely **** when the clock hits 55 minutes.

I think he's pretty crap, and apart from the odd game here and there he's always been crap for us. But I don't hate the guy.

In fact, both Lambert and Sherwood have praised him for his work ethic in training. So aside from having a sulky face, bearing in mind he IS French , what makes him unprofessional? Vive_La_Villa
I think now Weimann has gone he now has the public enemy number 1 tag all to himself. Then again Gabby is still about.

I reckon he is on about 60 a day, and his diet consists mostly of Burger King and Nandos. Pure conjecture like, but I am sticking to it.

I don't wish him any physical harm I just loath seeing him fail almost every time in a Villa shirt.
