I will bump it up and be controversial and say if it was up to me he would never play again. He is really really poor. I honestly dont know what his job is on the field. He offers no leadership. No drive in attack. Rarely he supplies killer passes or shots (barring the odd one or two). His pressing is okay.... but any player can do that.. In fact i think Herd does it better and probably would win more tackles in that role. He cant header. Has no pace. He needs to be dropped entirely from the squad. Id rather see Gardner given a run or give Sylla an extended run. He has had enough chances and unlike Petrov who showed signs and flashes.. has still failed to show anything in his second season in the Premier League. Not good enough.
