OMG they've stitched together a composite of his face from 20 different faces too!

It's compression artefacts. It's why 50MB photos are 60KB

ok, so you tell me why you're so sure it's real?

Because there are no editing artefacts, only compression.

I'm not saying there's no chance it hasn't been edited but it would take someone days to get something that good. I doubt anyone's that dedicated at making Jack look bad. Well, some bluenoses or Leeds fans maybe..

I’d say the same band he is wearing on the other picture is a giveaway.

They don't look like the same bands to me. There are substantially more bands on the right hand and we can't see whether the necklace in ibiza has like an ornamentation (not sure if that is the right were) like it does in the new photo. And it seems unlikely that Jack is wearing beads on the uk. Very different to do so in sunny shiny ibiza.

It's garnered enough attention I'd have expected a denial if it was a fake, tbh.

I'd also expect someone to be able to find the real image of Jack's face that has come from.

There’ll be hundreds of pictures of him that are not in public domain.

you’re much more likely to find the picture of the woman.

Dean Smith admits Aston Villa must match Jack Grealish's lofty ambitions to play in Europe - or face losing him.

Villa survived by a single point on the final day of last season and faced losing their star player should relegation have occurred.

The captain was at the centre of significant transfer interest from Manchester United all summer long following survival before eventually penning a new five-year contract to stay at Villa after showdown talks with Smith, chief executive Christian Purslow and co-owner Nassef Sawiris.

"I am delighted to make this commitment to Villa," he said, back in September. "It is my club, my home and I am very happy here.

"The owners have made it very clear to me how ambitious they are and how they want to build Aston Villa. There are exciting times ahead and I am very glad to be part of it."

Purslow, meanwhile, added: "Jack is an emblem of our owners' vision for Aston Villa. He joined our club as a local boy and has developed into one of the country's finest players, finally becoming a full England international last week.

"We are determined to build a top team around him and are delighted that he is extending his contract and committing himself to the club he loves."

After rumours surrounding Man City's and Pep Guardiola's interest last month attention has turned back to Manchester United with The Athletic claiming Grealish is still very much top of United's wish-list - especially off the back of the Paul Pogba fallout.

As for Smith, he's watched Grealish reach dizzy new heights this season with his skipper already having 11 goal involvements (five goals, six assists) from nine Premier League games played. The 25-year-old is the new darling for Gareth Southgate's young England side as well after proving his sheer brilliance in his five Three Lions caps to date, none more so than against the world's No.1-ranked team, Belgium.

Smith was asked about constant transfer speculation linking Grealish with a move to Manchester - and has challenged himself and Villa to get to where Grealish wants to get to in order to keep him performing in claret and blue.

"I've built up a very good relationship over my two years at Aston Villa with Jack and we know each other inside and out," Smith told Stadium Astro.

"He wanted to progress and wanted progress as a footballer first and foremost at Villa. It's his team, he grew up as an Aston Villa fan, he's been here a long time and I've always had that feeling that he didn't want to leave. He wanted to continue the journey of being progressive with the football club."

Villa have put in statement-like performances against the likes of Liverpool and Arsenal this season, and Smith added: "If we don't keep progressing and become a club that's challenging in Europe then we probably won't meet Jack's ambitions and there will be a time where Jack looks elsewhere then. At the moment, he can see the progression at the football club and he wants to be a part of that."

The boss was also quizzed on if the Villa job is indeed the dream job - and gave a mixed response knowing his a boyhood Villa fan at heart.

"Yes and no," he replied. "It's a club that I've got a massive affinity for. You mention my dad and all of my family and friends are Aston Villa fans as well. I grew up claret and blue as well and the hardest part now is the losses feel even worse because you feel the pressure from the friends and family as well.

"I wouldn't swap it for anything. It's an absolute joy and pleasure at the moment. The only thing that's missing at the moment is our supporters. If they were there for that Liverpool victory then they'd have been talking about that for the next 40 to 50 years."

i'd only expect a response if it was real actually. if it's fake then starts a trend of fans getting photos trending and players having to deny they're real

I suppose thats one way to stop him......talk about anything but his football.

They did that with George Best and Gascoigne in the end.

I think, If I had the world at my feet, like he has.....I would be living it, much like him.

Bravo Jack, life is for living son.
