Maybe City are panicking, its strange. Should be done by now

It is strange right? if everything is as we've been led to believe then it was medical this morning and announcement as the latest?

Somehow, the mental image of ManCity as a whole thrown into existential panic makes me smile.

Unless there's another couple of irons in the fire to sort out before everyone knows we've got £100m burning a hole in our pocket what's the hold up?

I feel like given the Ings announcement from absolutely nowhere last night this may well be the case mate.

Then again medical was yesterday or last week when was agreed last Friday or last month when Talksport said it was completed

I think City cant buy him and Kane, this is the problem and Kane tantrum has opened negotiations

It might explain why Emi B was snapped up very early on. That signing always felt like it was pre-determined from the previous summer the ease and pace which it went through. He gets them back up when he probably could have left last summer and is then granted his move this year.

If this sort of arrangement was set up for Grealish though then not sure why it's only going through with just over a week left to the start of the season. It hasn't really helped us get over signings for cheaper as they've gone through after it's all broke in the press last week.

Who knows. Villa would be a great Netflix documentary but at the same time, I like how we do our business and keeping people at bay,

I'm not saying all the detail was pre arranged, just the bones of it.......just the thought of it was hanging around in his head IMO....This has been on the cards for some time imv, and the Euro's, shin injury( time to think) etc has just tipped it over the edge. I don't think Jack has shown his best form in the last 6 months of playing for us, could have been playing on his mind.

I think it will effect him if we’re very vocal against him, it definitely unsettled Barry all those years ago. I think a very hostile Villa park would upset him. Which I think is good I think the football world needs to see genuine anger over it otherwise this nonsense carries on with players, hopefully Jack is the straw that breaks the camels back. But I think we should be hostile anyway we’re far too passive a fan base in my opinion Villa park should be somewhere teams think “hate that place, it’s hostile”

Higher more like £350k

It certainly is

I wonder if they want to buy his song for £10 mill?😀

Perhaps got a phone call about their dubious bank statements and invoices? UEFA will be v interested.

Would only be made sweeter if Lange has been structuring the deal for Grealish as a trap: demanding the money up front, Lange forced Citeh to shift their assets around. Desperate to sign the man with the shins, Citeh showed their hand, uncovering years of financial abuse and corruption. Investigators will be seizing hard drives from the Etihad by the end of the day. Pep is found hauled up in his office tomorrow morning, his head buried in a mound of cocaine. Foden tries to intervene as authorities escort the Spaniard to a nearby vehicle. The man with the shins is seen chasing the vehicle as it drives towards M6. His only head band falls behind him.

The End.

It is all a bit odd, I mean I know it's a big transfer and lots of complications can crop up, it's just weird he's been training with us the whole time and although the press/media/ITK's have been desperate for it to move along quickly it's really dragged on.

I wonder if it's to do with image rights? City you'd think would want a percentage, then they can then market the bejesus out of him and get a chunk of their investment back off the pitch. Jack and his agents will likely want that percentage to be as small as possible for maximum coin. Everything else should be pretty smooth once a fee and payment structure has been agreed I'd of thought.

Perhaps he peaked at Christmas and has been on a downward trajectory ever since. 😀

FWIW if City do bail on the deal then he will be welcomed back with open arms. Think Barry was booed for 25 minutes at Villa Park after Liverpool thing and was then all but forgotten

Perhaps City have made a breakthrough in their negotiations with Kane and are now cooling on the idea of signing Jack Grealish.🤣🐴

Well, if that happened the shit would really hit Grealish's fan.

That would be very interesting. NSWE could renegotiate his deal downwards. 😀

If this move fell through, would you be happy to have him back?

Personally I hope it does fall through, there is a good statement from Jack and he gives an even better performance next season.

If Jack apologizes sincerely for agreeing to leave and waives his release clause as repentance then all is OK. Open arms!

No. Loan him to WBA or SHA.
