Chris Langham being done for downloading child porn was brutal though I did really like him as a comedian up until then, he'd done a superb office mockumentary before then I think. Roy Mallard? or some such. “People like us”...his character was called Roy Mallard. Excellent series, particularly the first series. It was a couple of years ahead of the faux documentary situation comedy. “The Thick of It” is pure class. Malcolm is obviously the stand out, but there’s so many great characters. I love the dynamic between Ollie & Glenn. Peter Mannion is a personal favourite. 1

Mark Albrighton Posted January 4, 2018 VT Supporter Share Posted January 4, 2018 One of my favourite Peter Mannion quotes (I won’t include any context) - Spoiler “I COULD rape a cat now and I wouldn't get a paragraph!”

One of my favourites of all time. Recently rewatched the whole thing for the first time since it originally aired and it's lost none of its brilliance.

I still have the whole thing on DVD from the 90's.

Stevo985 Posted January 6, 2018 VT Supporter Share Posted January 6, 2018 Watched "Manhunt: Unabomber" over the past couple of days. Really good. There were elements of the show that annoyed me, just stupid little plot points, but overall it's a good watch. And (i'm guessing loosely) based on true events. NurembergVillan Posted January 6, 2018 Moderator Share Posted January 6, 2018 We watch it pretty often. We usually watch a film in the evenings, and when that's finished Family Guy is on the telly so we watch one of them before we go to bed. Right now we're watching something on Channel 5 about worst celebrity pop songs. Keegan's on it at the moment. It was Sid Owen a few minutes ago. It's **** mind-boggling. Rugeley Villa
Finished peaky blinders last night. I thought overall the series was really good. Great ending to it, with a few twists. Was glad when Arthur reappeared at the end, as he was by far my favourite character.
Brumerican
I don't know how they managed to get a character as dark as Caleb the cannibal into the latest season of Brooklyn 99 but they deserve a medal. Tim Meadows is pure gold in the role.
