I understand why, they think the (/another) case is jeopardised if they reveal much, but they even have blocked bail with little justification. It'll be an interesting one to follow. More details revealed on this today. He's ****. Admits to being at the location at around the time of the murders, wearing an outfit matching the man in the video, multiple witnesses at the time note seeing someone matching his description in the area on that day including one that saw the man with mud and blood on him looking like he'd been in a fight, his car is seen traveling to the location matching the times of witnesses seeing him and another witness saw a car that matches the one he was driving. And probably the killer for the prosecution, though not unquestionably so, an unspent bullet that can be linked to a gun he owned and confirmed only he had access to was found between the bodies. I wasn't aware that a bullet could be identified to a gun it has been cycled through but not fired. I wonder if that's an angle for the defence - essentially, prove that bullet was in his gun. Supposedly the police believe there's more people involved in this hence the secrecy around it. Bizarrely the case is tied to a paedo case as well - a man used a catfishing account to communicate with one of the girls, including on the day of the murders. He's now being held charged with multiple child porn charges. The suggestion seems to be there's a link between that and this murder case, as well as potentially others. I havent had a letter for about 2 weeks and all my packages have either been cancelled or delayed. With the strikes as well with them trying to sort all the post out its probably going to take ages for them to sort it all out. My missus has been waiting for her bank card for almost 3 weeks. Everytime I see him, he's either just been stuck in traffic for several hours trying to get home from work, he's just had to pay hundreds or thousands to fix his car or he tells me the weather forcast for the next few days and makes out the world's about to end. I got a full house at 5pm yesterday. It had taken him 3 hours to drive to the other side of Birmingham that morning. Someone had also driven into his parked car at lunch and his front end had been crushed. (He'd come home early from work to fix it himself though and there wasn't a scratch left on it. He'd saved himself thousands!!) Just as I was about to go back in my house he warned me that it was going to be -18 on Saturday.
