Popular Post Xela
Had a nice relaxing couple of days near Stratford. Was worth it for the change of scenery. Ate well, drank well (a little too much the first night!) and gave me a chance to think over a few things. I need these little breaks at the minute to keep me sane.
Popular Post Eidolon
Went to support some friends at a burlesque showcase they perform in last night. They were absolutely brilliant and it was a great show. Having said that it was a bit more eventful than I planned in the end. During the intermission the MC asked for four volunteers for a game of musical chairs, I put my hand up as I can never stop myself in these situations and when I got on stage found out that what she meant by musical chairs was that the four of us were going to compete giving four empty chairs lap dances in front of a crowd of about 200 people it was very fun and I think I gave a good account of myself but my legs are so sore…probably a sign to get more exercise
Popular Post Davkaus
I had my first foray into the arts this evening since I was at school. Bought some watercolours, a pad, and the book 365 Days of Art, and after quite a humiliating experience I've decided to take a step back and maybe learn the basics of control and mixing colours before I have another attempt at a landscape Even the cats looked unimpressed 5

bobzy
Accurate, although none of them seemed to have the *knock* *leave package* *run away* method down.
fightoffyour Posted December 20, 2021 VT Supporter Share Posted December 20, 2021 And where was the one where they just say "recipient not at home" without even knocking on the door?
Genie
My wife ordered a mug for my daughters teacher from the Villa store. It arrived in literally 20-30 pieces. I can’t believe they managed to smash it up so much. She contacted them and they sent out a replacement, imagine the horror when we came home to a note through the door saying they’d put it over the garden gate. Luckily it was in 1 piece. Xela
Talking of Hermes: Quote Couriers working for one of Britain’s largest delivery companies mishandle parcels, routinely fail to complete next-day orders and are encouraged to lie to customers, an investigation by The Times has found. https://www.thetimes.co.uk/article/exposed-the-hermes-delivery-staff-throwing-your-parcels-against-the-wall-rckzwbxc7 Video should play even if you are not subscribed.

Rugeley Villa
When we went to Oxford the other month we went into the big museum there, the one with all the old dinosaur bones etc. Got really taken back with what was in there , then directly above it was another museum that concentrated more on different cultures . Really good museum. Booked up to go Oxford again but this time taking the kids with us as we think they will love the museum .
