omariqy
Didn’t he score against us last time? I am worryingly confident which usually means we should expect something bad to happen on Saturday.

They’ve hit some form but we’ve got plenty of form and momentum on our side too. Leon to play a blinder in a 4-0 victory, let’s start enjoying the run in to a brilliant season. Another brace or possibly more from Ollie!! UTV!!!!!!!

Yes, I think it’s the only headed goal scored against us this season
VillaAlex
No Enzo, he's out for the season now so he can have surgery before Copa America.
rubberman
Yep, no Enzo and Gusto unlikely. Really hope Palmer is still sick as well. Would still bring in Doug to help own midfield and drop one of Diaby or Bailey (depending on his knee) and give us more oomph from the bench. Popular Post ferguson1
So looking forward to this as it’s been such a long time since I last watched a game at Villa Park. My 12 year old boy is coming to his first ever game and he’s counting down the hours! Holte End tickets and we’re arriving early to cheer the players coach and take in the atmosphere. Chelsea are pretty much Palmer FC regardless of what Poch says. They were dreadful midweek and will be wanting a reaction. However, they’re a young side and tend to play as individuals, but our cup game against them showed that they can turn it on when the going is good. I do think we can win and quite well if we get into them early and get a goal or two before the break. Can’t see many changes but I would start Luiz, alongside McGinn and Tielemans. Bailey could well be nursing his knee still and may well start on the bench but hopefully he’ll start: ……………...….Martinez………………….. Cash…..Konsa……Pau…..Digne ………Tielemans……..Luiz………. Bailey..…….McGinn….….Rogers ………………..…Watkins….…………….. Subs: Olsen, KKH, Munroe, Carlos, Lenglet, Chambers, Zaniolo, Diaby, Duran Harsh on Diaby I suppose but can’t see Emery starting just two in midfield against Chelsea. No idea if Zaniolo is fit for the bench but if not I guess Kellyman will take his place. Going for another 3-1 home win and Watkins to reach his 20 Premier League goals tally. Alfie Gilchirst looks like that token local player in their squad who's won a prize to play prem as he gives 100% but playing Arsena was simply too much for him. We're missing a trick if we don't continue getting the ball forward quickly and have Ollie moving to the left as him with Digne on the overlap will overwhelm him I imagine. Only other option is to move one of the CBs to RB.

sharkyvilla
I'd go unchanged for this one. I thought we were superb last week. Give Doug a bit more rest to play Olympiakos and also concentrate his mind a bit that his recent performances have dipped a bit. We could blow Chelsea apart in the first half if we go out on the front foot.
