You chaps are going to have to deal with that, we are at the top end of the table and people are going to get over excited, it's a match thread.

Result matters. Defence wasn't right today, and despite getting one, Diaby couldn't hit the backside of a cow with a banjo.

Bit of time now to get the team back in line with the system and get injuries back to squad. FA Cup a free hit for me.

Every season is going to have dips in form - we put everything into beating City/ Arsenal and things have dipped since then. Emery will get them back in shape.

said before the match i didn't care how we won as long as we won it. Now we have a couple weeks to reset for the next league game where we will have a fit torres, tielemans, kamara and cash back in the squad. If we are lucky then maybe 1 new signing,

I usually can't stand hyperbole and whining for the sake of whining, but honestly this is so true lol. We nearly **** up against 10 man Burnley, which we really have no business doing being as good as we are this season.

Alas, we didn't and hopefully we can mentally reset ahead of next game.

Bit of a Andy Dufresne performance by Villa there but I'll happily take it since we are 2nd in the table currently.

2023 has been some year on the pitch for Aston Villa. Just utterly fantastic.
