Would you rather win the ECL or FA Cup or qualify for the Champions League this season?

This was a question on the Claret and Blue podcast earlier this week. I think there might've been a similar thread over the summer as well but thought it would be interesting to see what we all think now, after what we have done so far this season. 

 

I figure that winning the Conference League will probably get no votes, but all three were options on C&B.

I would take winning either the FA Cup or Europa Conference League, over qualifying for the Champions League, football should be about winning trophies, and it's even more so needed for us at the moment as we haven't done so in twenty-five years now, which is way to long of a wait for a club of our stature.

West Ham won Europa Conference League last season and that will live long in the memory of their fans, whilst the likes of Everton and Leicester have qualified for Champions League, but unless you actually win it, it soon gets forget about.

I'd personally rather a trophy, so we have something to show for it. Then next season aim for top 4.

Conference league this year. 

Europa league next year (via 4th place finish this season getting us in to the champions league, finishing third in the group, then winning the Europa league after dropping in to it)

Then Champions league the year after that.

Qualifying for the CL. It will give us the opportunity to sign a few elite players who can help us go far in the CL, win the FA Cup next year, and win the Premier League too!

Champions league is necessary if we want to progress as a club. Felix allegedly turned us down because we weren't in the CL. To get a full 20-23 man squad of quality you simply need CL football.

No, it's just the sensible answer rather than the romantic one. I think we can get there eventually, so I'd go for the conference this season.

I'd be happy with either trophy.

Performances in Europe so far have us barely squeaking through conference league, hard to picture us actually being competitive in CL. One step at a time.

Very good question . As a club champions league football would be the answer and I’m sure the owners would rather that too. As fans we’d love to be in the champions league but I reckon a lot of us would prefer trophies over that .

I voted for winning the conference league, because in my FM22 save Aston Villa won the conference league, then the next season I won the Europa league. 2 trophies and we were in the Champions League.

By the way Emery has us way ahead of schedule from my save.
