Cannot see him coming back to England as he will have to pay half of his earnings back in Tax.

Neeto be out the country for 12 months so will probably end up in Europe for 6 months

Looks like he’s going to chill in Amsterdam until the tax burden passes.

He’s going on loan so not quite terminating his contract. He was never going to have any resale value.

Maybe they’ve realised he’s shit and he’s agreed to a massive wage cut if they let him leave them in one way or another. The loan is slightly less embarrassing than him leaving on a free after just a few months.

He's terminated his contract, it isn't a loan, he's signing for Ajax on a free transfer.

About Newcastle wanting a player who is nowhere near good enough and what the **** is Ashworth doing?

Or the dodgy Saudi stuff?

A Sunderland fan signing for Newcastle though Henderson has history of changing opinions

Ah ok, thanks. I read earlier it was a loan.

Very funny to see Henderson slink off to Ajax after realising what he got himself in for. Can see more leaving the Saudi league soon.

Just wondering how bad it has to be for £700k a week not to make it OK.

Yeah, that’s what I thought.

Ok culturally it’s a nightmare but it’s ludicrous money and a 5* lifestyle for a couple of years.

Maybe we’ll hear more about it once he’s safely out of the country.

Another example of what a **** mess utd are

They've loaned out Reguillon a LB, they've loaned out their best young LB prospect to benfica, leaves them with perma crocks malacia and shaw... So who do they play at LB? Dalot who is a RB

He's actually still a Spurs player. Was only on loan at Utd.

Is Henderson just thick as shit? Going to Saudi was always going to be a grin and bear it situation.

Reminds me of when Gerrard went to play in MLS and was interviewing afterwards genuinely not realising away trips would take 5-6 hours on a plane east to west.

Some footballers really are that dense.

Regardless of the LGBTQ + stuff it would feel very hollow Henderson going from 50k and crunch CL games to a couple of thousand rattling around for most Saudi league games.

Saudi would never have bothered getting him in if Gerrard wasn't there as he's hardly appealing to their league given they want to get in as many Balon D'or winners as possible and also elite players that will appeal to Muslim population like Benzema and probably Salah next season.

I'm sorry, but the Jordan Henderson situation is hilarious. Imagine going to play in such a crappy country and not earning a single penny. The man is an absolute joke.

Gerrard as your manager will make you do desperate things.

Extraordinarily soft interview by Sky Sports with Ivan Toney. He committed 300 betting offences and is fishing for a transfer away from Brentford. Yet, the interviewer only asks obsequious questions.

Wonder if the Brentford fans will be as angry with him as they were with Ollie a few weeks back.

People shouldn't use Brighton valuation or sale prices as a benchmark, people talk about their scouting, but they've also been very good at marketing themselves and their players as being better than they actually are. Most who leave them for big fees, do okay at best, non do anything of any real significance befitting of the big sums paid for them, Caicedo, Mac Allister, Sanchez, Curcurella, Bissouma, Trossard, Maupay, White

He’s going to pay more tax in the Netherlands than he would have in the U.K. so that’s probably not the reason.

Not on the circa £25m he has just earned in the Middle East, it would remain Tax free in the UK as long as he stays out the country for 12 months
