Comfortable win.   1-0 would have flattered Forest so I'm glad we got the second goal.  Felt we were in control for most of the game, certainly in the second half where we kept trying to get in behind them and we almost managed it a number of times. That stuff probably doesn't show on xG or shot counts but the threat was there constantly and it wasn't just down Moreno's side (though he was a massive threat).  Forest didn't offer much except for athleticism but I still think they've got a shot at survival. For us? Europe!

Whatever happens next week - and Newcastle are a top side, they looked extremely good in the games I saw against Utd and West Ham - we should be extremely proud. Clubs can go six months or more while waiting for 3 wins in this league, to achieve that in a week is truly, truly outstanding. As someone said above, 'Thank you Unai'!

We look so assured at the back. Konsa back to looking like a a top centre back and Ty is still one of the top performers week in week out. 

This team really could do with a break. But anything fantastic win and another clean sheet!

Just shows the massive improvement since Emery took charge, didn't play particularly well but still win , sign of a good team .

Not the best game to watch and we were not at our best, but I'd have bitten your hand off for that result if you'd asked me before the game.

Become accustomed to us slipping on such Bannana skins over the years, Emery really is molding us into a different beast entirely - and I for one am absolutely loving it!

Irony, is it initially started when a Man U supporting mate tried to goad me with it ( Good Ebening ) when we hired him.

As you can imagine, my first meme was created for him, after we beat them. lol ( That backfired for him )

Aside from that, my sense of humour just isn't as filtered as some people.

As you note, my sentiment is the furthest thing from malicious. ( Obviously )
