We already have two loan players registered which is the maximum permissible under PL rules. The guy scored 21 goals in ligue 1 last season, the joint third highest in the league and is now 6 months off his contract expiring. Why would he be successful here? If we pay any fee for a player that is out of contract this summer and hardly plays, I’ll seriously question our financial dealings.
