I don’t think he is a type of player we’re after anyway, he isn’t a quick winger he’s similar to Buendia and Coutinho. This one isn’t happening.

How is 'a quick winger' being 'similar to . . . Coutinho'???

“…According to Spanish reports Wednesday, Mallorca have been unwilling to entertain deals from multiple clubs, with Brighton and Aston Villa both making offers said to be over £10 million ($12.14 million).

Lee reportedly has a 17-million-euro ($18 million) buy-out clause, a sum that none of the offers on the table are believed to have met. Mallorca are likely holding out for that clause to be met, although some reports suggest Lee is keen to move sooner and is frustrated by the club’s inaction…”

If both us or Brighton wanted him that bad we would have triggered that clause. Its incredibly low

If it was your money then that's ok. But it's not. Also we have a business to run here.

Exactly and financial constraints. We've to manage the total squad cost, so if we pay more than we deem a players value to be we will end up with an expensive squad who are not as good as we need them to be.

He’d be worth the fee alone for the exposure he’d bring us in South Korea.

If he’s a half decent player that is.

The mythical exposure and shirt sales that amount to nowhere near a players fee or wages for a football club.
