He fulfils all the criteria I've wanted us to appoint from a manager/coach in a long while: Won serious trophies and vastly experienced yet still in his prime as manager (was involved in CL semi final just six months ago). Has a proven track record of promoting youth when they're good enough which is important for the crop we had out on loan/on fringes of the squad. Will be motivated given way his Arsenal stint ended.
