He was never going to sign for us, so I don't really give a scooby who he signs for. A couple of points on this though:

It's interesting that they are paying less than other clubs would have had to pay for him.

Is it really a good move for Southgate? Like last season's big Citeh signing, he won't be guaranteed a start week in and week out, as he was at his former club, so surely it would be better for England if he was playing regularly in the PL?

He is another that will get a hefty pay rise, will get medals handed to him and only wanted to join Citeh, having previously claimed to be loyal to his home town club (so much for that!).

As has been said, Citeh are intent on buying everyone they want (because they almost 100% can) and having the equivalent of two PL teams to pick from, by doing so we run an increasing risk of one, or at most two clubs winning everything for another ten years or so.

It is a massive problem. They are going to have the modern equivalent of Withe and Shaw up front for them next season.

It seems that slowly but surely Citeh are turning into Bayern. Winning the league every year

I'm actually pleased we didn't sign him. I think he's extremely injury prone and would have always played here with one half of him regretting leaving his home club. Another who will have a trophy cabinet full of purchased trophies which will mean little as the mists of time decend & it becomes clear how a few greedy clubs, funded by states and backed up by greedy FA & FIFA officials who greased the tracks for them with lots of dodgy deals, effectively destoyed true competitive football in the 21st century.

Oh.... Welcome Newcastle Arabia too BTW

Was subbed on in the 89th minute and had a couple of touches in his first game for Man City, but apparently that was too much. Now he’s out with ”some niggles”.

His body is breaking down already that much us clear.

After the latest niggle, it looks like he’ll have another operation.

Kalvin Phillips will miss England’s Nations League games against Italy and Germany after suffering a reoccurrence of a shoulder problem,”

Good, one of the best things that can happen to England is phillips gets injured and big nose is forced to play Bellingham - although he'll probably start Henderson

Midfield 3 of Henderson Alexander-Arnold and James

Shit player looking out of his depth at a higher level. Not that surprising

I still think he was signed to up their homegrown player quota. He was never going to be good enough to be a regular for them.  Looks like once he got the move he got relaxed and now isn't bothered getting in shape.

If he doesn't play for City again this season you can guarantee that boregate will still pick him
