Why is it that some people feel the need/entitlement to come on with aggressive and annoying messages like this after every Villa defeat?

Watford played like a team who know they are shit and Villa played like a team who think they are good and are not.

They used to compare Gerrard and Lampard as players, and now it looks like it is time to compare them as managers - not much between them, then and now.

My fears about appointing Gerrard who's only proven in a pub league starting to come true. We should have gone for a proven manager and Purslow is to blame for this mess because it was his decision to go for Gerrard. 

 

An absolute shambles of a season gets even worse. Thankfully I didn't watch today but comments prove we just as woeful if not worse than last week.

 

Gerrard doesn't deserve to be manager of this club.

How can you make these statements without watching the game??

It was no surprise we were poor after starting with near enough the same side who started again Newcastle.

The subs were utterly baffling. We have no width in the side, no plan B and no midfield. How can we have spent all this money and still be so poor?

What a strange take. The aggression and entitlement comes purely from our fans who scream at their own players for passing it sideways or give it away.

Is it totally normal behaviour to shout/send abuse at players in their 20s?

After the Newcastle performance I was expecting a reaction , we just did not get . Never left a game early but I did today this as really poor and the players are not performing.  Just do not know where we go from here but 4 3 3 is Not working and we are a shambles.

Certain players have just ended their time at villa today.

Cash, Luiz will go. Possibly Watkins and or Ings. We will spend obscene amounts of money replacing them in the summer and find ourselves overhyping the signings. To discover they mostly flatter to deceive and find ourselves no better off.

 It actually kills me that since the 19/20 season we have invested a further 200m+ plus God knows how much more in wages on this squad and we're not much better than the team that escaped relegation with 35 points.

 

Watford have spent hardly anything, they expect to be sh*t. We have invested a fortune and received a record sum for one of our Academy players. How the f*** are we still so bad at football?

 

I'd actually say we're as badly run as Everton and Man U given the amount of money we have wasted on dross. God knows why the media seems to think we have so much to look forward to and had a great January transfer window. We're even worse now than we were at the start of January.

 

Let's look at it: over 50m on Ings and Watkins and both are useless, Dennis has as many goals as both of them and cost Watford barely anything. Mings 25m and constantly makes mistakes. Bailey 30m and other than one game against Everton been useless. Buendia a record signing and he has delivered 2 goals and 3 assists in over 20 apps, another waste. Luiz 15m and hasn't improved in nearly 3 years. Sanson 14m and not returned one bit of that investment. And yet despite the CM being the most pathetic part of our team, we ignored it last month.

 

I worry for the future to be honest.

Poor subs. We did quite well until then. 

To me, our players showed passion and wanted to win, but it just didn't happen.

System may be at fault, I don't know... but our players are not as good as we think either. Not sure who won the Grealish trade.
