I think some power needs to go back to clubs or it'll only accelerate the end of football when streaming money becomes a huge issue. Too much money leaving the game to agents. Don't particularly mind the mental wages for the best players in the world. They can do things no one else can. It's the same everywhere though. There are always "specialists" in some area who focus on that area and blag their way through life. Be it construction, finance or whatever else. In football, it's the agents. After all... 'Aston Villa are aware of Conor Gallagher's situation with the 22-year old expected to fetch a fee of around £30m if he leaves Chelsea'.
