VillaFaninLondon
Southgate's fault for once again making no subs when England needed some fresh legs and leaving the useless Sterling on. Did the same thing at the Euros too.

Wainy316
Lolz, at least two minutes between the goal and the kick off. Ref adds 15 seconds.
Genie
Should have been subs after England scored (at the latest).

This is the best England squad I've ever seen. Scored 2 goals in a group stage, needed extra time to beat Denmark. Basically they beat Germany and that was it. It was dross, like watching Villa under McLeish. Tony Pulis would have got to the final. 8
Popular Post KAZZAM
Poland played well tbh. Southgate not making any subs was baffling...oh wait he's an idiot. 4

Didn’t connect with his clearance, and they kept the attack going.

Good game too, nice to be challenged for a change. No subs does seem a bit mad though.

All the media rave about the strength in depth, like we have another starting team on the bench, an the bottle job makes no subs, in a game many players were blowing at 70-80 minutes. Shocking decision making. Frustrates me, cause I'm sure we would win a tournament without him in charge. Final was lost down to bad decisions not a bad team.
PaulC
I thought England deserved to win. Bit of a home ref and late goal doesn't matter as England will easily win the group anyway

Jonesy7211
Why is it that (nearly) everyone but the media can see that Southgate is not fit for purpose? So much criticism of him and his tactics tonight, where do you start? I just hope he's gone before some of these very young and talented players get wasted by him. Wainy316
Sterling is a bit like El Ghazi. Seems to kill 8 out of 10 attacks but then pops up with important goals making him difficult to criticise too much.
