My favorite bit: “The only acceptable reason to choose Villa would be that we couldn’t guarantee him first-team football in our star-studded squad, but the chance to play alongside our players should have been the icing on the cake…”

Must be deflating as a Norwich fan, to get promoted by winning the league and still losing your best player.

Great by us, but got to feel for them.

Its a predatory business, and we have been on the end of it, too many times.

Thankfully due to 2 wise men, we have been turned from a selling club in to a buying club.

I am with you, its hard and my empathy is with them......but we just have to get on with our project and hope we succeed, without being mercenary.

Some Norwich fans saying this is a sideways step for Buendia. Really? We are light years in front of them and already in a position

they can never achieve again. I love the fact they support their team but Come on- get real

This is rather splendid. Gotta love our owners, and the way we just get our business done (hoping it doesn't go wrong now).

I mean, yeah OK, great player and all but why are our new kits always so **** late?

Just to provide a bit of balance to the strangely disgusted response from some of the Norwich City supporters having seen a player of theirs leave to join Villa, this fella is far more nuanced and philosophical about it.

He’s surprised that he’s off to Villa, he says as much, but he can also see the ambition at the club and disagrees with the assertion that it’s a sideways move for Buendia.

So to clarify, the salt levels in this video are non existent. This is not a shrieking Arsenal Fan TV esque video. It’s not a point and laugh at them video. Just a Norwich City supporter, a seemingly likeable fella putting an objective view on things and despite clearly being gutted about the sale (to say he rates Buendia is something of an understatement), he’s trying to remain upbeat.

Can't get any sound on that.

Not good enough for where we want to be.

A good option in games where we’re likely to get battered perhaps. But that’s all.

Regarding Arsenal, not really surprised Villa outbid them and make for a better option for him right now. As I said previously, Arsenal are a club stuck in limbo and you can see that by just watching them or even the reactions from fans (AFTV etc). They are stuck in no man's land and whilst I think that won't last forever, they aren't as tempting a offer as some Arsenal fans think they are. There are deluded fans at every club but the realistic fans know that Arsenal need fundamental changes throughout the club to be competitive again.

So I'm not shocked Villa were ahead in the race to sign Emiliano.

its not so certain, it couldn't be......but he would have step up on his consistency and distribution.

It might not be beyond him, but I wouldn't sell him anyway, if we brought a better version in, because we are so short of this specialist player.

blimey, West Ham have Rice,Soucek and are being linked with Kral...they obviously like 'em.

I think he’s taking the piss. He has been complaining about how many chances we concede all season.

give him the benefit of the doubt.
