This from before tonight’s goal

Anwar El Ghazi (7) has scored more Premier League goals than Werner, Neto, Firmino, Richarlison, De Bruyne, Grealish, Mount, Pulisic, Abraham, Bale, Martial and Greenwood.

Just goes to show - shooting from distance pays dividends. We're far too timid/slow to try, all too often. Tonight we've had a couple of decent efforts, that one AEG just buried, and another from Barkley which hit the post.

We need to do it more.

Does there always need to be a pivot to a new criticism? Can't you just enjoy it for a few minutes?

honestly, we've been hella good all game imo. not sure why we're always so inpatient.

100% this

Everton had a decent 5 to 10 mins, not even great just good, and the knicker wetters came out

Our history tells us to do it but we don't half get nervous as a fan base

Because some villa fans desperately want us to lose so it proves an opinion about Smith they came to 12 months ago.

I am over the moon for El Ghazi. But can we get some perspective.  Thinking one player should come off for another doesn't make yiu at hater. Typical Internet reaction.  There is no middle ground, you are for them or you are a HATER.

Complaining for 60 minutes about 2 bad touches in the first 10 minutes does though. Especially since he has been far and away our best player in the 2nd half.
