It was 2 against 1 and Grealish took a chance. Had it come off Hourihane would've been flying down the left flank and could whip in an even more dangerous ball.

It's like they don't think about these things, the other week against Chelsea we had a free kick last minute in decent position instead of getting everyone forward we let trez, the worst player on the pitch have a shot

Yes this.

Id expect so much detailed planning to go into every match and every possible scenario, but I don’t think Villa do that at all.

Commentator on BEIN Sports says since we have come back he has been disappointed in us.

Mentions how difficult it was to get into the Premier League, yet we hardly show any passionate or fight to want to stay in it which should be a minimum, for the size of the club etc.

Sounds familiar...and outsiders see it, yet some people claim that our "expectations" are unrealistic.

Anyway, I think we have done ok so far, major let offs from our criminal cock ups as usual.

Wolves will turn it up second half.

Good half that, Grealish looking a bit more dangerous with Ally and Davis occupying more defenders and Luiz continuing to be our best player since the restart. Thought that chance for Hourihane was the one, a bit more weight on the pass and he might have gotten the shot away.

Still not filled with too much confidence though, Wolves will be happy with that themselves and just have more concentration and quality than we do. We've so many...loose cannons on the pitch at the moment that can go off at any stage.

That was on target. Cross it in and they clear it.

We haven't created anything, lack of movement. We need to win games, 6 left after this including Arsenal, Pool and Utd. We are too afraid to lose the game and won't start playing until 1-0 down.

This is a problem as well.

Sometimes we have to take a little risk to try and win the game, but we are just too low on confidence to give it a go.

There's no need for that sort of thing

Why not? It is no the quickest game of football and he has pedigree. Conor is literally bringing nothing except trying to ref the game, slowing it down and letting the ball trickle out for our throw ins instead of moving the bloody ball.

Plays with absolutely no purpose drive or urgency.
