You can have good players in shit leagues.  They’ll just find it even easier as the numbers prove with those players you just mentioned.

Mane probably scores 30+ next season.

maybe but I highly doubt it since only one player except Lewandowski has scored 30 goals in a season since the 70s

Leroy Sane numbers went down since he moved back to Germany so its not as easy as people think

Bidding war!!

They'll have to open up the war chests in order to prize him out of our grasp.

Or alternatively, wait a year and pick him up for a pittance.

It's different. With younger players you play them because the more games they get the more experience they get and the higher their performance levels get. The young players cost less and your reward is a higher quality player for the on field investment time you've given them.

Dortmund are in a league where a large amount of their games aren't competitive for them so you can afford time to these players. In the Prem it's ultra competitive and a handful of points can be difference between 15th and 9th. Or 7th and 5th

I'd love to know what makes you think that!

Way off

Seems like somewhere between dortmund being a great team and them giving loads of youth a chance people take what they've seen them do at times over the last decade (or even longer) and think that's what they are - they're not, 2nd last season, even 4th the season before, is a slog for them, they're miles off bayern and they don't give that many opportunities to youngsters

Their best youth product is currently doing exactly the same as chuk, talking of leaving because he doesn't get enough games

They're a myth

There you go Carney. They won't ho crazy over you and are as poor as ****, just trying to buy low and flip high. What an enticing prospect for you.

Lol if he accepts this then he never ever viewed us as a place for his break through. I’m sure there’s a rumour that he didn’t want to go out on loan when we were loaning out Barry, A.Ramsey etc last season?

The article states these points:

Barcelona interested, but not a priority, they have many players in that position and don't want a bidding war to ensue. The interest is more in players who can hit the ground running. They would consider signing him and loan him out. The entire article is speculative.

At this point, complete non-starter.

Who ever buys him is most likely to loan him out, He can't even get himself into our starting 11 let alone some of these so called super clubs!

He'll probably end up at Forest or Fulham

He’s an excellent player, he has great natural ability. If he wants to move on, so be it, he will have a great career in the game, I have no doubt.

They'll be no bidding war. Clubs can agree a deal with him in 6 months time. Why would they or him agree to it when he will get paid mega money in 12 months?

He's barely 18. He's in no rush.

Probably, but it's certainy not *impossible* that a club will try to get him now if they think they'd be less likely to get him next year. From the player's perspective, it might not make much financial difference and would presumably be the difference between some first team game time and being a sub for our U21s.
