Also a booking for simulation, cheating. How can there be no contact as well as touching the ball "first"?

Watch it, you can see the brighton player pulled his foot back clear then 'both feet off the ground' dive. I watched it from all angles on the replays. It's a soft penalty and one that normally gets given nowadays. You can still over exaggerate and go down like a sack of shit when getting kicked, it's not exclusive to no contact. I also don't think Lamptey should have got a second yellow and Trezeguet should have got a straight red.
villalad21
Fantastic again today. Not his shooting boots on today it happens. I am much more concerned about his general play which was excellent.
Rolta
It would have been a soft penalty. He actually had some surprisingly class moments. Shame he missed such a great chance to score.

sne
He seems to be playing with a lot of confidence. If only he had some composure.

Quote "For a moment I had my heart in my mouth but I got a bit of the ball. I haven't seen it back but sometimes with the follow-through you cannot avoid making contact." villa4europe
No contact? Watch the Brighton players leg after whilst trez is mid air, look at his body shape as he's trying to stop himself from falling as he's tripped, it's a bit like Cahill vs grealish when grealish "dived" it's so good a dive that the defender reacts to it Not only is there contact he's whacked him Its not a dive, it's exaggerated but it's not a dive Its the minutest contact on the ball that's stopped it being given and that is bollocks as the ball is still in trezs possession Edited November 21, 2020 by villa4europe

AV82
Would've been a harsh pen imo and Trezeguet throwing himself around didn't help the cause. What I don't agree with is overturning the penalty so it should've stood.

That's exactly why the ref reversed his decision after viewing it.

He might've touched the ball but he didn't dispossess him.
